* Every individual has their theories about what this life is all about and then there is the Mind of the Lord Jesus Christ preserved for all in the Kanon of Scripture, Who by the way they will all have to deal and stand before.
* Revelation 20:1 > the Lord has given an order to a top tier Seraph angel to seize Satan and deposit him into the Abyss and shale him with chain.
* Verse 2 > laid hold / krateo - means to seize with violence. Satan is going to violently resist this top tier Seraph angel to no avail.
* This is the Church Age of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not the age of science or politics or business or family or relationship. The majority of individuals are wasting the time allotted to them by the Lord Jesus Christ to express faith alone in Him alone and to adjust and refine their adjustment to Him.
* devil / diabolos - the accuser.
* Satan means adversary, enemy. He is the enemy of all mankind. By the way, Satan does not make anyone sin. That is something we do of our own private volition under the power of the hadegooe nature. Sin does not further Satan’s objectives, but human good works and super human good works (evil) certainly do. Sin is an embarrassment to him and his design to rule the world. Our sinning does not help him advance that goal.
* Satan was completely and totally successful in absolutely defeating Adam in the garden. And because he was the Federal Head of the Lord’s creation on the earth, now we are all born physically alive and yet spiritually dead to God. As such, we are all desperately sick from the top of our head to the bottoms of our feet. Our only way out of this mess is to express faith alone in Christ alone.

* This is the Church Age and God has a specific systematic system for this dispensation. And He wants us to integrate inside of it and has provided the divine problem solving tool of Recalibration ( I John 1:9 ) for this to occur. We may fail and sin but HIs System never fails and even provides a rescue vehicle when we do sin and fail.
